評論：Michael 在“Jam”中保持了他的黑人本色。出演該片還有另一個“Michael”，——NBA籃球天神Michael Jordan（麥可•喬丹，當時公牛隊正在打季後賽，Jackson願意根據喬丹的賽程來安排MV的拍攝日程）。“Jam”的開頭有些狂亂不安，攝影機的鏡頭始終跟蹤著一隻魔力般跳穿過街道的籃球。之後我們被帶入到一座建築裏。當Michael Jordan出場時，節奏開始加重上揚。而Michael則在一個空室裏跳著完美的舞蹈。之後他加入了Jordan的行列與他進行了一次一對一小型對抗賽。
在“Jam”的製作花絮中，我們看到一個白人小孩[Wade Robinson，後為當今偶像超級男孩（N’sync）和Britney Spears（布蘭妮）的編舞]在Jackson面前班門弄斧，滑著優雅的小步。Jackson以一種“這是我的MV，孩子”的方式抓起他的領口把他提出鏡頭外，這不禁讓人回憶起多年前Diana Ross在70年代的Motown電視節目中也以同樣的方式把十幾歲的Michael拉開的有趣情景。

這是《Dangerous》專輯內在英國第5支發行，在美國第4支發行的單曲。就Michael Jackson的標準而言，此曲的失敗極為慘痛。在英國和美國的最高排名分別為#12和#26。它在英國單曲榜上只停留了短命的3周 。不過它在美國的R&B 單曲榜上反而取得#3的成績。排行榜上的失利的原因可能是因為該曲中新採用的陌生的聲效—— 不同於MJ早期的作品，這讓該曲喪失了以往Michael Jackson歌曲所擁有的商業吸引力。在法國，此曲反倒成為繼“Black or White”後最成功的單曲，竟拿下了冠軍寶座。另外，該曲也在澳洲和義大利榜上位列前10。
